This year, the entire family attended the Black Friday service at 1 pm (often we have a cranky napper that we've left home with one of us adults), and then we all got to celebrate the resurrection on Sunday. After the kids stuffed themselves with candy, of course.
Easter eggs in earthy tones because we used our brown eggs instead of buying (and then having to eat) the store-bought white ones. Before eating fresh eggs from pastured chickens, I didn't realize how bland store-bought eggs are! We actually considered getting a white leghorn hen to lay white eggs which we could stock-pile for Easter but I really like these earthy colors.
