We're finally getting a break from the rain this week. Even this past weekend, it rained on and off both days.
Monday Clare and I went to Grandma & Grandpa's house to pick apples. We plan to make more "apple roll-ups" using the applesauce maker and dehydrator. Apple fruit leather roll-ups are one of Clare's favorite snacks.
Of course, no visit to Grandma & Grandpa's would be complete without a jump on the 'tramp.
Today we scoped out the area I'm hoping to hunt on opening day and visited a friend at his little cabin in the woods.
Who but a toddler can just plop right down on the ground, not caring whether her bum gets dirty or wet, to finish her graham cracker?
By the way, it took us about 20 minutes to walk 30 yards on this trail. We were supposed to be checking out an area for Matt to hunt but needless to say we never got there. ;-)

I absolutely LOVE that last picture of Clare plopped on the ground. So sweet! I have not been apple picking yet... need to do that soon. It was on the list for this week but then Ez came down with a nasty case of croup so we are house bound. Just as it stopped raining, as you said! I'm going nuts! LOL.
