Clare-isms

I just love this age, when phrases and sentences tumble out of Clare's mouth all day, often including words I didn't know she knew how to use. 
Some of my favorites lately:

While banging her spoon on the back of her chair: "Making the pretty music."  Hmm.

After handing back a carrot with one bite taken: "I just wanted to taste it."

Randomly, while eating breakfast: "Jesus loves Daddy.  Jesus loves Mommy too.  Jesus loves Clare."
So sweet!

At lunch, right after I'd put the applesauce away: "More applesauce please, Mommy dear!" 

When she wants something she's not allowed to have: "Please and thank-you... PLEASE and THANK YOU!"  Sorry, Clare... manners are great but they don't get you everything.  :-)
