Honestly, I'm not sure why we even have toys for Clare...
Yesterday she spent hours -- literally hours -- playing with a turtle made from an old ribbon spool and construction paper, feeding it "treats" cut from cardboard I dug out of the recycle bin, and driving it around in a little car made from an old Malt-o-Meal container. NONE of her toys have ever entertained her for this long.

The next time there are big projects to get done around the house or maybe when this new baby comes and I'm otherwise occupied... I'll hit up the recycle bin and the pack of construction paper.
