Another reason I haven't been blogging... and a reason to pick it up again

Our broccoli has been ripening like crazy in the past week and I'm trying to cut, blanch, and freeze it before it flowers or goes bad in the 'fridge.  We planted more broccoli than normal this year because it tastes so good in the winter, is good for us, and is so quick to pop in the microwave and cook for dinner. 

And oops, I'm supposed to be processing more tonight but... I got a new laptop and it's too much fun to play around with.  We replaced my old one (which is still working after eight years) but we decided it would be best to replace it while I can still get all my old stuff off and transferred to a new one.  (Rather than waiting until it completely died, which was my rather illogical plan initially.  Thankfully I have a husband who is a little more forward-thinking on technology than I am.)

I have to say, importing and uploading photos is no longer a chore -- hooray!  Maybe you'll see more posts from me in the future (or maybe not, if I stay motivated with my veggies).
