Clare and I got out for a walk on the local ski trails while we still had snow on the ground. I pulled her in the sled because it was too icy to be safe for skiing with the backpack. (A familiar story this winter.) Molly loved the crusty snow (except when a paw broke though) and the running water.
Clare wanted to walk part of the way back and she insisted on pulling the sled herself. Then she cried in the car because her shoes were covered in snow. I'm so glad we went out this day because the warm weather we got later pretty much ruined the trails for walking or skiing.
