We've spent a fair amount of time in the car lately, as in early March Matt and I drove to Superior, WI to look at a truck for sale and ended up buying it. That was a good eight hours. The following day Clare and I headed down to Traverse City to visit friends, over seven hours one way. Being front-facing really helps with the drives; Clare hardly seems to mind them. She enjoys pointing out "tweet-tweets", flags, water towers, and cell phone towers. She likes, no loves, her sunglasses even though they squish down the tops of her ears and look rather uncomfortable. She also loves her puppy who is great entertainment when bounced up and down on her lap. I laugh because one of Puppy's ears is still attached to his head by a tiny thread and the other one flops around freely. Kind of funny looking. (More about the TC trip later -- it was rather eventful, to say the least!)
