Although we still have a dream of one day moving to the "country", preferably near a trail system for biking and skiing, there's something to be said for living in town. We can walk to the grocery store, the co-op, the gas station for bread, milk, eggs... those little things you run out of and need to pick up quickly and easily. The post office and bank are within easy walking distance, as are several really nice parks. One gorgeous evening after dinner, Clare and I took Molly and headed to this park, about a fifteen minute walk away. Clare loves the swing!
I also took her down the slide, but the covered part at the top (not visible in the picture) is not really meant for an adult carrying a kid. Molly wasn't real thrilled with the park as she was on her leash the whole time. So though we might move someday, right now we are really enjoying our little house in town.
