Little Garlic River

Last Friday a good friend and I decided to search for an elusive waterfall.  The trail, for the most part, ran along the edge of a gorge through which the Little Garlic River flowed.  And flowing it was, after several warm days to melt a lot of the surrounding snow.

We never found the waterfall, but Clare learned how to drink from a hydration hose on this hike and for the most part we enjoyed ourselves.  Shortly after we turned around to head back to the car, Clare decided she'd had quite enough of her Ergo and protested, loudly, until we reached the trailhead a good hour later.  This picture was taken while she was still enjoying our hike.

I thought this was going to be a post about a recipe for a garlic butter sauce or something. LOL! Cute pic! :)
