It's hard to believe that Clare is seven. She woke up early on her birthday morning to frost her cupcakes for school. They were gluten free cupcakes because she has a third cousin in her class that eats gluten-free and she wanted to make sure K could enjoy her snack.
It's a good thing I am NOT good at cupcake decorating or I might have been tempted to micro-manage this. As it was, I think hers turned out about as good as mine would have.
After school present opening. Karl and Nora had each bought her something from the Dollar Store.

Clare baked and decorated her own cake. I was impressed with how well she did the frosting, considering that the cake likes to stick to it. This picture is before she embellished it with her new frosting decorator tips.
