"Boo" turns two!

Sometime when Nora was a baby I started calling her Baby Boo (don't ask me why; it just seemed to fit) and when she got older, she just became "Boo".  Anyhow, somehow this sweet little girl is now two years old!

blurry, but too cute not to include
Coincidentally, we picked up our three lambs on the morning on Nora's birthday.  We started our trip to Steve's farm by petting a young Scottish highland calf:

Which three lambs should we pick??

Delivery!  The lambs arrived via tractor in a crate.  Karl liked that.

The lambs right away went in their stall and hid in the corner. Steve said they'd be shy for a few days.  He was right.

Trying out the tractor.
After dinner Nora opened her gifts.  We just had a very small family party, which was relaxing.

Nora loves fish and everything fishy, for some reason.  One of her gifts was a Toob of sea creatures.

She also loves our animals, so we got her a big bucket of farm animals to act out farm life.

Hugging her "baa-baas" (all four sheep in the set).
Someone else liked the farm set:

Sleeping on her turtle.
Attempting to blow out the candles:

Why bother with a fork or spoon when the cake is this good?
Nora at two:
Loves: alligators, fish (especially starfish), sheep, dogs, chickens, animals in general.  Swimming, keeping up with her siblings, climbing, running.
Favorite foods: spaghetti sauce with meat in it (but without noodles), berries of any kind, fruit, hot dogs, wild rice venison sausage, PBJ but not the crust, ketchup (by the spoonful).
Least favorites: Hotdog and hamburger buns, most vegetables,
Notable achievements: climbing the ladder into the barn all by herself (yikes), climbing up on the bunk bed and promptly falling off, floating competently on her belly in the water in her puddle jumper, sorting blocks and toys by color.
She's learning words quickly and repeating everything we say (although it's hard to understand her most times).
