Hard to believe that my little guy is one already. (Though technically he doesn't turn one until 5:31 pm today.)
We celebrated last night with my family, meeting in Chassell since Mom & Dad have more space there for grandkids to play and run around.
Karl LOVED his cake.
Eating like a puppy...
He ate nearly half of his cake before he decided he'd had enough.
Update on my little man:
* He's growing like crazy lately, moving almost overnight from 6-9 month clothes to having some of his 12 month clothes too small already.
* He loves anything with wheels: cars, trucks, strollers...
* He likes when Clare pushes him on their ride-on toys.
* After nine months of indifference, he's decided that he loves dogs. Molly is getting really annoyed by his crawling over her, pulling on her nose and ears, tail, etc.
* He likes to open and shut doors: cupboards, bathroom, desk, etc.
* He likes to put things in his mouth but is pretty good about handing it over when asked.
* He adores his big sister.
* His favorite foods are pancakes, blueberries, bananas, apples, cooked carrots, toast, sweet potatoes, cheese.
* He's not walking yet but who needs to walk when you're a super-speedy crawler?
* When he's excited, his voice gets really high-pitched.
* He loves going outside but doesn't do much when he gets there now that it's winter. He likes being pulled in a sled.
* He adores his daddy. Matt comes in the door from work and Karl makes a beeline for the entry.
* He'll be getting a hair cut soon -- the mullet has got to go now that he's a big 1 year old.
