Pumpkin Patch and attempted photo shoot

Why is it that whenever I really want to get a good photo of the kids I can't get them both to cooperate at the same time?

... or I can't get either of them to cooperate at all...

This was the best we could do for a shot with the two of them:

We did manage to get one decent photo of each kiddo.  You can see the cute little top teeth Karl had before he went and chipped the right one.  Don't ask me how he did it because I didn't notice until the next morning.  The impact with whatever it was must not have hurt him much, if at all.
