Karl is three months old today! In many ways, it seems like he's been with us much longer than that. He's such a happy, smiley baby though this week he's been suffering from a bad cold. I knew he was sick when he slept for 10 hours straight on Monday night. Unfortunately, I couldn't enjoy it because I kept waking up, wondering how he was doing. He's recovering much more quickly than Clare, who seems determined to drag her cold out as long as possible.
Clare loves her little brother. It's so sweet watching her "take care" of him. Today she started giving him toys to hold. She doesn't let him hold each one for more than a few seconds before whipping it away and giving him a new one.

So sweet! Karl seems to have such "knowing" eyes. I can't believe I have yet to meet this precious little guy!!
