I won't say that two kids are easier than one, but the transition to two kids has been much smoother than the transition to one. Not necessarily because Karl is such an easy baby, but because I'm used to being a mom.
I'm used to having dinners interrupted, reheating my morning cup of tea multiple times before finally finishing it, doing tasks one-handed, hauling kids in and out of car seats, stepping over toys strewn all over the floor, the complete lack of privacy in the bathroom, the many extra minutes it takes to get out the door when we need to go somewhere. I'm sure many moms can relate to the overwhelming change that happens when transitioning from being an independent woman to having a little baby, completely dependent. Now, since I haven't been independent for over two years, the addition of another sweet little soul into our family hardly rocked the boat. We're so glad to have you, Karl buddy.

Isn't that the truth! Our second one rocked our world but for unique reasons of course. Now Ezzy, his entrance barely caused a ripple. I can't wait to meet your new little one... maybe in May?
