Our favorite park is not too far from home (only about 12 minutes of walking if Clare rides in the stroller, but closer to a half hour if she decides to walk home, which is quite often).
The park has everything we could want: baby swings, slides designed for toddlers and preschoolers that are not too high or scary, some shade for me and a large concrete ice rink with boards around the sides to keep Molly's ball contained as she runs after it.
And best of all: occasionally there are large puddles for splashing in after a good rain!
